Hot and humid means a beach day

Today the prediction was 90 degrees with oppressive humidity.  So of course, that meant a beach day.

It was extremely windy as we headed with the kayaks to the water.  The stream we take to the beach is about 2 miles long and well protected, so we didn't notice the wind, but we could hear roaring from the other side of the dune and knew that it must be wavy.

Holy cow, it was SO wavy!  Lake Ontario looked like the ocean with large and powerful waves.

But that didn't deter either dog!  They both went crazy jumping in and out of the water.  They were completely unfazed by the large and crashing waves.

I told Marc that I thought Sisko might have just been happy to feel cooled down.  Because he was chasing Booker and wrestling him for the water toy.

They must have run and played in the surf for over an hour!

I was so glad they were having fun!  We then relaxed on the beach until I got up and dove into the deep part and they both thought that they needed to rescue me!

When I got out of the water they both settled down and soon Sisko was snoring loudly!

It was a very quiet trip back and they have not moved all night!
