A busy weekend
I had a lot I wanted to get done this weekend. So first thing yesterday morning we were off to run a bunch of errands.
Fortunately, the boys make even the most boring task - like taking garbage over to our local dump - an adventure. They are so excited to see people and are absolutely fascinated watching people grab cardboard out of their cars and toss it into the dumpster.
Then it was off to Lowe's where we shopped in the garden center and then over to Runnings where they are welcomed in store and were fawned on by people. We made a couple of quick stops where dogs aren't allowed so they had to people watch out the windows while waiting for us.
Then it was time to head over to a trail to get a quick run in before heading home.
After our late lunch, we headed outside for the yearly task of cleaning out the chicken house. The dogs ran and chased each other as we cleaned and then followed Marc multiple times as he drove the tractor over to the edge of our land to dump off the old bedding.
Needless to say they were pretty quiet last night.
However, the were raring to go this morning. We headed to the beach and ran 7 miles. The were off leash and splashed in the water and chased each other.
We got home and they got some well earned canned food.
It was pretty grey and cool out, but the greenhouse was nice and warm. So they got to lay on their beds and supervise me as I planed a bench of seeds.
It felt great to accomplish a bunch this weekend, especially when we can include the boys!
