Thanksgiving!

 Today started with super crappy weather.  I was disappointed as I wanted to get a run in with Booker.  The more tired the better as we planned to let him roam crate free for the whole day.  He's been doing really well with not trashing the place like in the past but we planned to be gone much longer than we've normally let him out. 

Miraculously we got a small break in the weather and I dashed outside with him. The first half of the run was very windy and the roads were soaking wet. As we turned around and headed back large hail slash snow started to fall.  But we got in over 3 miles and I was happy about that.

Felt so bad to leave Sisco at home he wants to go out so bad with us but his leg is still really bad and he certainly shouldn't be running on it.

We gave them bones filled with peanut butter when we left and crossed our fingers that the place wouldn't be a disaster and we got home. We checked our pet camera a couple times while gone and could see that there was something in the middle of the floor that had been destroyed but I couldn't really tell what it was. 

So when we walked in we were kind of holding our breath. 

I had gotten some really high-end running sneakers on a fabulous sale and when they came they had those cardboard like inserts in them and I put those in the box they came in until I threw them away.  Booker did get in and rip those cardboard pieces apart but all things considered that was minor damage phew!
